I guess slow and steady wins the race.
Still trying to build a consistent regimen…..cos my work schedule is tight.
Thats all for now..
Its often said that the enemy of the best is the good. Its possible to get stuck in a seemingly good place and not realize that there is much more you can be . I am reminded of a promise in the Bible. “The Lord says. ….. I will guide you along the best pathway for Your Life, I will advise you and watch over You “. This promise speaks volumes first God is interested in my life and He wants me to get it right. It also tells me that there are different pathways I can take, but God wants the best pathway for me. Its amazing that you can take more than one route to get to a particular destination however each route has its landmarks and offers a different experience. God wants for us to live the good life he preplanned for us, the very best. So our hearts need to be open so we can follow along His directions, some things may look like the good right now but before you continue seek to follow His best.
Being a busy working mum is an interesting and exciting adventure. It comes with lots of challenges as well. One has to learn and perfect the art of balancing all the many hats we have to wear. Yet there is a tendency to take care of everyone but yourself. I am very guilty of this and I have to consciously slow myself down most times so I don’t get burnt out. Thank God for the amazing strength He gives. One of my favorite scriptures is ‘ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’. Its always encouraging to know that our All Sufficient God is able to hold us and guide us through the rugged terrains of life. So today if you fèel burnt out, over worked and stressed run to the Everlasting Source of Strength and get refreshed.

I heave a big sigh as I reflect on the various seasons of my life so far and I’m truly grateful. One thing I’ve learnt and I’m always reminding myself is to always be grateful and enjoy each phase of my life. When I was much younger in secondary school, I was really looking forward to going to the university, then that came and I began to look forward to graduating , after graduating my mind was on the next phase, then I started working and it was …….. when was I
getting married , then we got married …….when are the kids coming. Through it all I’ve learnt that in each phase there lies an adventure, each phase is unique and presents an opportunity for growth and learning. Don’t be in such a hurry that you don’t take time to smell the roses . Enjoy each phase as it comes. Make the most of each phase. So right now at whatever stage you find yourself live your life and be the best. In all things give thanks. For there is a good end in the Divine master plan.
